"We seem to overlook the fact that animals are in need of care, love, and kindness as much as humans do. Many animals are being killed everyday at an alarming rate due to hit and run accidents. Numerous abandoned, stray animals are being sent to pounds and shelters which often leads to lack of space and insufficient food. If not adopted, claimed, and there is really a lack of resources to keep supporting the animals, they are going to be euthanized."
Our group blog, Learningscape, has made a blog and written a petition about this. It serves as a call for action in showing support to end animal cruelty and stand for animal rights.
